Do processed foods save you time in the kitchen?

April 8, 2012 Anne Elliott

The question of the hour… does it REALLY save you time to buy food in boxes, cans and bags? Does it take more time to make food from scratch?

Dr. Mercola has an article on his website called “‘Convenience’ Foods Don’t Really Save Time,” which is a study from the British Food Journal, written in July of 2007. Their conclusion was that the amount of time it takes food to be ready averages 52 minutes, whether convenience foods are used or not!

Isn’t that exciting news? It just proves my theory that Satan is simply lying to us. Don’t listen to him! Get in that kitchen and enjoy the health benefits (and far superior taste!) of homemade food.
