Breakfast Bars

  • 1 cup sprouted wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup oatmeal
  • 1/2 cup freshly ground flax seed
  • 1/2 cup raw honey or “healthy” sugar (such as sucanat, Rapadura, or other unrefined sugar)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup raw milk
  • 1/4 cup butter

The night before, stir oatmeal and milk together to soak overnight.

In the morning, preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine all ingredients and spread in a greased pie pan. Bake 20-25 minutes.
